過去進(jìn)行時

What were you doing at eight last night?

昨晚8點(diǎn)你在做什么?

I was taking a shower.

我正在洗澡。

1、定義：

表示在過去某一時刻或某一時間段正在進(jìn)行的動作。

2、構(gòu)成：

1)肯定句：was/were+v.-ing

I was sleeping at teno’clock last night.

昨晚十點(diǎn)我正在睡覺。

2)否定句：was/were not+v.-ing

I was not sleeping at ten o’clock last night.

3)疑問式：Was/Were+主語+v.-ing……?

Were you sleeping at ten o’clock last night?

Yes,Iwas./No,I wasn’t.

3、時間標(biāo)志詞：

then,at this/that time yesterday,at 8:00 yesterday morning,all night以及when/while從句等。

例句：

When it began to rain,Ben was helping his mom make dinner.

當(dāng)開始下雨時，本在幫他媽媽做飯。
